Confirmation 8th grade

 

The Sacrament of Confirmation requires a strong base in formation gained through weekly mass attendance, family prayer, scriputure reading and partcipation in classes throughout the elementary and middle school years. Immediate preparation for Confirmation takes place in 8th grade.

 

Using lessons from Augustine Institute's The Search Begins we address core questions of life, examining the many options you have and the many signposts that point you to potentially life-changing answers.

 

We will attend Sunday Mass together, break open the Gospel and dive into the Beatitudes and Catholic Social Teaching.

 

Conformation class will meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month (every other week). Students will being with 9am Mass and will then move into class room instruction until 12pm Noon. 

Important Dates

Mandatory Parent Meeting: Sunday, September 13th at 10am

Conformation Retreat: Saturday, March 6th 2027 from 10am-2:30am *Students will attend with a sponsor or a parent

Conformation Mass: Saturday, March 13th 2027 at 5pm with Bishop Quinn
